Veriette Illustration and Design is the work of Louise Clifford of Balloch, West Dunbartonshire, just outside Glasgow. Recently graduated from University of Sunderland with a BA (hons) Illustration and Design, and previously attended Anniesland College with an HND Visual Communications and NC Art and Design.
Inspiration comes mainly from many sources but I have a keen passion for album artwork and old vinyl packaging from the 60’s/70’s, and have created artwork for several local bands. I also find artefacts from days gone by fascinating and inspirational! I find myself drawing and painting animals and portraits the most, although my style is very adaptable and I tend not to stick to one style of illustration, I like to experiment with different textures and mediums. In my graphic design work I am much more clean and simplistic, preferring no fuss, designs.
Available for commissions (whether it be personal, such as a painting, portrait or commercial), collaborations and projects etc, if you have any questions do not hesitate to get in touch via the ‘Contact’ page!
